Anti-Government Protests Erupt in Georgia

A group of people are protesting in Georgia the capital of the former Soviet republic,
against the actual president Mikheil Saakashvili, who was elected after a bloodless revolution in 2003.
the protesters are claiming because of the unemployment that is increassing every day and they are accusing the president of repress the pro-Western democratic reforms promised when he came to power.

the authorities finded out the insurrection sunday morning, and tryed to calm down the situation
firing tear gas and rubber bullets. the witnesses told that in general the protest was paceful, exept for a little group of people who attacked a police officer and try to proboke him to respond the same way.

The anti goverment protestants said they are following the steps of some midle east countries that are revolting against the outhoritarian govermets.

the peolple is expecting for the president Mikheil Saakashvili to resign, so they can ellect te person who they want to represent them.
